A new World Bank report shows carbon pricing is gaining ground. Today, 28% of global emissions are covered by some form of carbon pricing, often through markets like WA’s #ClimateCommitmentAct. In 2024 alone, these systems raised $100B+ for the clean energy transition.

Seventy building owners across WA received $45M in Clean Buildings Performance Grant funding from Commerce. The awarded building owners will use funds to make energy-efficient upgrades. An additional $14.5M will help building owners pay for energy audits.
