I feel the opposite.
I don't understand how people I know who used to criticise creationists, antivaxxers and cllimate deniers, in a few years began insisting that a man could literally become a woman just because he declared he was, and that inner feelings took precedence over biological reality.

I teared up with him. Disappointed for the sake of future generations that need to see action on Cllimate Change and the inevitable loss of life because of medieval thinking on women's issues. Disappointed that so many people would vote for a man like this, it was soul level.

Food costs are going to get worse.
Southern PA farm area was just declared a disaster zone b/c of cllimate change. It's likely happening elsewhere in the country bc other areas have been dealing w/ this too & have lost crops.

Cllimate here is marginal for many cactus varieties. Prickly pear OK in sheltered areas like cliffsides, not too good fully exposed. Forget about barrel and most other large types. We have a couple of PP and some little ball cactus, all volunteers. Ocotillo puts on leaves every year but never grows

The military has been modelling this since the 1990s. The more livable places know how to keep climate refugee migrants out. And I’m pretty sure most of them will make that decision eventually. This is why I tend to say that civilization will not survive cllimate change.

Yes, absolutely, there was a 'fire season' in Canada five years ago. It's why provinces have had wildland firefighters for decades. But cllimate change and poor logging industry practices have made the 'season' exceptionally worse so now you notice.
