A series of panels from the classic comic series Watchmen. The first panel shows philanthropist-turned-villain Adrian Veidt in his Egyptian-inspired Ozymandias superhero costume. His speech bubble has been edited to read, "I can make little number nines appear." Subsequent panels are unedited. The second panel depicts Dan Dreiberg as the superhero Nite Owl. He looks shocked and uneased, saying, "You...? Nahh, come on. That's completely... You couldn't REALLY do that?" The third panel is a closeup of Veidt, his confidence and pride shaken. In the original story, he feels the weight of inflicting an enormous sacrifice to achieve a greater good; in this edit, he instead appears to regret making the page number of 9 manifest in the lower-right corner.
