Great morning birding my Lochwinnoch patch with Garganey briefly before flying off towards Calder marsh. I think probably a juvenile male rather than eclipse male but happy for views). Little stint, green sandpiper was patch year tick 126 reaching my 2026 target! #clydebirding #birdingscotland

Utterly atrocious phone scope photo of 2 Curlew Sandpipers on the local patch at Newshot Island today? You've got it!
The highlight so far of a nice run of passage waders across the local patch in the last few weeks, including good nos of Ruff and Green Sandpipers #ClydeBirding #BirdingScotland

It's been getting on my nerves that I haven't been able to find any Quail this year despite the huge influx into the UK. This one singing away unseen today near Newshot Island was found by someone else last week, so I'm pleased it did the decent thing and lingered #BirdingScotland #ClydeBirding
