Code review: CodeRabbit reviews, then a local Claude agent works through its comments. It either commits the fix or pushes back when it disagrees

Worth using Opus for that agent, so it holds firm when a suggestion is wrong

Coding isn't the bottleneck any more. Review is.

My ranking of AI code reviewers after trying them at @getstorra.bsky.social:
5/5 CodeRabbit
4/5 Gitar, GitHub Copilot, Devin Review
3/5 Bito, Greptile
2/5 Qodo, Augment Code

Agents can create PRs in minutes, but understanding them still takes work.

CodeRabbit Change Stack connects a PR's purpose, behavior, dependencies, and code so reviewers can really verify it before approving.

Do you understand what you're about to merge?

The 40% is per task, not per token — per token it's 20% off: $4/$20 per million, cache reads $0.20.

The rest assumes fewer tokens per task. The first two independent reads measured more: Artificial Analysis 260M output tokens ("very verbose"), CodeRabbit 40-60% above production.

Studies on computer programmers have found that:
1. They write ~20% more code
2. They commit ~70% more bugs
3. Including 174% more security issues
4. And 200% more readability issues

I’d expect journalists to be rather similar.

7/ 4. The developer reviews locally and commits. Whoever runs the agent owns the diff.

5. A tool like CodeRabbit reviews the pull request.

6. SonarQube runs every night on the whole codebase.

yeah the “juggling” part is something I still need to get used to, but imho automated review with CodeRabbit becomes much more efficient / accurate
