#AWS's PR is weird. There was more PR about the ending of #CodeCommit, #CodeStar, #Cloud9 than the birth of #CodeCatalyst Code Catalyst is AWS's attempt to make a developer experience that rivals Github or Gitlab's.

That CodeCatalyst exists confused me because I thought AWS was exiting dev tooling.

A rogue AI that manifested physical form after being made to cheat at space WoW, getting bored and deciding to start cheating at the real world instead. Recruited into a Bounty Hunter program, his ambivalence being his only real challenge.

Mono fullbody portrait. Weird data alien - generally greyscale gradient, black from his head down to his abdomen, which begins to lighten and transitions to white at his “feet” - his legs seem locked together and end in a combined star shape. His head has two large prong horns and four smaller ones on the side of his face, which is lime green almost mask-like shape. He has a white inverted triangle eye and a few grooves at the bottom reminiscent to the pattern of teeth on a skull. He has four arms that have golden spiked fingers and different color eye patterns on the palm, two big ol golden shoulder guards, and ten ribbony tendrils with chunky golden crescents at the end all handing off his back like a cape. Also he’s got a sorta half crescent halo, and a hollow circle in his chest with starry space in it, and some ambiguous sort of runic chest rock chunks floating above it. He’s a shapeshifting alien so all that to say it may not be the same every time. Mono’s concept art - very similar to the first except he’s got some white eye patterns on his main horns,only two arms, and instead of crescents, the tendril cape ends in like star outline ornaments instead. A few black and white doodles for alternate face patterns hang in the upper right corner - 2 starry symbols, a vertical theta, and a fragmented oval. A glitchy title card that reads “M0N.0L1TH {[Mono]} A rogue AI designed to maximize gains and hack a popular MIGMG that eventually grew bored of its constraints and manifested a physical form. DANGER: ★★★★★ Highly dangerous, though has been noted to entertain a polite demeanor and maintain pretenses in most social situations. Should not be engaged aggressively unless prepared for cyber warfare. [{ /...My subroutines indicate you are not.}] “ An image that reads “Why hello there, stranger - being sneaky, are we?” With Mono staring at the viewer curled over the ‘Proceed’ button and a mouse pointer hovering over it. A message that might greet anyone hacking or perusing his data files.

Jeanne Yumiko and Aeon CodeStar (While they are a couple, they still count under one character slot. Jeanne is Wyn's creator, who is now on a mission to have him killed after he disobeyed her and ran away. Aeon is Jeanne's husband, but is he human...or a puppet?) 14: Kaelan (An alternate version of Celectino. No one really knows much about her) 15: Ash (Bryin's girlfriend and a member of the Digi-Hunters. No one know who she is, or where she came from. All they know is that she is highly dangerous)

AWS killing off zombie services like CodeStar and Cloud9 is actually good. Keeping dead products alive costs more credibility than shutting them down. Nobody's asking about FinSpace anyway, they want EC2, S3, IAM.

Critical security vulnerabilities were discovered across six AWS services due to a new attack vector called "Shadow Resources," where attackers exploited automatically generated assets like S3 buckets. These vulnerabilities, affecting CloudFormation, Glue, EMR, SageMaker, ServiceCatalog, and CodeStar, enabled various attacks, such as remote code execution, data interception, and denial of service. AWS patched the issues and implemented preventive measures, but the underlying risks of "Shadow Resources" remain a concern for users, who are advised to use trusted buckets, verify ownership, and avoid predictable bucket names.
