I’m hearing from sports/cinema cognoscenti that FIFA has already decided to give Melania Trump its “BEST ACTRESS” statuette. It looks like an Oscar, only the head is a tiny soccer ball. And they charge the recipient over a million dollars (up-front).

Lichtenstein's hack jobs helped convince multiple generations of people, including alleged art lovers and cognoscenti, that comics art was shit. No, just Roy.
I'd never seen this Roy Lichtenstein painting before, but it's incredible how he manages unfailingly to make his copies worse than the original comics he's ripping off.

Nice people made the best Nazis. My mother spent her childhood in Nazi Germany surrounded by nice people who refused to make waves, chose not to focus on politics... They were lovely, kind people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away.
