like guys we have gestapo in the streets and my state of FL is absolutely crawling with them and it's legal to run over protesters here. I've been at it for 10 yrs and thank god i havent run into many people like that IRL bc I'd probably punch them in the face at this point. Comdef is exhausting.

Training ComDef isn't one thing. It's many things folded into a combined effort of a whole community. Being able to dig a hole and plant something is equally as valuable as being able to put holes in paper as well as patch up holes.

This includes learning of threats perceived by our community, reacting to them, unlearning ways in which we harm our own, and sharing our processes.

It's easy to advocate community defense when it's flashy action. ComDef folks can collect their gear, their guns and their martial arts belts, that's fine. But where are you when a neighboring town is destroyed by a climate disaster? Helping clean up is also community defense. Do both--stop the LARP
