FD are the essential horror-comedy imo. Like other films that just have bits that are horror or comedy in them, but FD lives in the space where the structure of those two things intersect. All the irony & foreshadowing, tension building, false relief, unexpected death punchline, it's very joke shape

I don't think anyone's picked Vincent Price yet. He had such an enormous catalog, and while my first love is horror films, my second is comedy, and he pulled off both in style.

I don't think anyone's picked Vincent Price yet. He had such an enormous catalog, and while my first love is horror films, my second is comedy, and he pulled off both in style.
