Apparently I am the first person in the history of Bsky to use the abbreviation "UlCo". In fairness, this will only be the second time they've held ComicWorld in Ulsan.

Whenever I hang the no-AI sign at my booth at ComicWorld in Korea, I get a lot of people stopping by to compliment it.

Many booths at ComicWorld close up early. I intend to stay right here until 4:30 both for the last stragglers and also because my train back to Ulsan doesn't leave until 10PM.

ComicWorld is a market style convention with a huge amount of fanwork. Unlike North American cons, there aren't usually panels or a lot of scheduled events. The market and the cosplay are the draws.

Weird thing is that ComicWorld, the big Korean comiket style convention, now has a legit adult section after years of being more prude than... sorry I can't think of a good joke. But they were quite prude.

ComicWorld has started a webstore for exhibitors. I'm going to get my wife to take a look at this when she gets home because I don't trust my Korean enough. Could be a good thing.

ComicWorld doesn't seem to have the cultural cachet of Comiket or Comitia. I don't know why. I don't even know if that's strictly true, at least in terms of in-country cachet.
