I'm really quite tired of this entire tone that pervades politics of trans people being privileged, unserious, and detached from radical politics for whom hormones are little treats we can compromise on instead of vital healthcare that plent of us are sourcing directly from compounders.

One other thing about it: people are rushing to use black market versions from compounders, and I really do not fucking understand people being so willing to inject knock off version from a drug that has not yet been fully vetted for funsies.

This whole thread is an example of a debate that just needs people to disagregate the data and focus on composition effects and compounders. E.g. at low incomes stress causes impulsive irrational desperation. At higher incomes, its loose money fuelling speculative behavior.
