theres even pure-o ocd where compulsions are (almost) always in the mind
October 31, 2026 at 10:11 PM
this is what happens when you're more pure-O with compulsions that you have made very subtle I guess you're just like yeah it wasn't ever really that bad

It’s not that the anxieties and ruminations and compulsions have just disappeared entirely, more like the volume went from 100 to, at its worst now, a 15. They still crop up but I can maneuver around them

We used to have guy on staff that would correct Brady against his worst compulsions.
joe brady tragically stuck in permanent 'let's do a silly one' mode

Getting stuck in a loop. Being put on pause. Catalepsy, compulsions, sleepwalking prisoner in your own body..

Loop/pause are fun cause you lose your capacity to react to new situations

Catalepsy's a classic, frozen stiff as a board, strong as a steel beam..

Sleepwalking is just advanced somno

Yup. He heard that people might see him as feeble if he cancelled. His narcissistic compulsions *cannot* tolerate such a thing

How does a person even stop hyperfixation and OCD compulsions?

This has been happening since childhood and led to me becoming a creator but I spend hours daily looking and studying creating and content and collecting inspiration tediously and I can’t create I feel like I could explode literally

millions of people moderately entertained and one pervert enacting compulsions

I check and re-check the scheduling system frequently because I have Diagnosed OCD but this time it actually saved me, which will make the compulsions worse but it's ok I'm very happy

And Cecily, his love, his everything, his external check on those compulsions, has been traumatized enough that he won't try to stop Ruh'to when the situation is really serious -- he'd rather walk into it against his own better judgement than be without Ruh'to.

I've been incredibly lucky, in that my care team is all on board with my level of COVID caution and have reassured ME when I was expressing concern that I didn't know where CC stopped and compulsions took over.

Boycotts have been also helping me in the sense it forces me of own moral decision and choice to not do these things which could feed the fixation inadvertently but I want the actual feeling to go away as it causes me breakdowns and to partake in daily compulsions (シ_ _)シ

The last frontier of their greedy compulsions control and own everything.

I read an article about how those of us with contamination-related obsessions/compulsions were really struggling at the height of the first waves because exposure treatments involve 'proving' the fear is illogical and so much about COVID contradicted that.

Both my father and my sister have ADD, but they’re very unlike me and if I have anything from that spectrum it’s the brain hyperactivity. Which could also be due to OCD, but in expression without compulsions.

I don't do compulsions (anymore) but I used to have to specifically think/repeat phrases in my head to stop the bad thing from happening. I did break that habit as a teen so I thought oh hey must've not been permanently OCD!

Couldn't find it. Why did you lie to me? Such a new low. I'll make sure to include your lying compulsions in the google document.

Not to mention.....I'm usually somewhere else...so....I have no compulsions with decieving people that are assholes to me.
