so if you unplug the USB conbee iii zigbee thingy and the root ext4 partition corrupts itself, is that good?

I'm trying to pair a #zigbee 3.0 device (sonoff zbmini) with a conbee adapter and #zigbee2mqtt but it's not working. The device is not showing up in zigbee2mqtt.
Is the conbee II not compatible with 3.0 or would it be because of the range? Although I haven't got any range issues yet in the past.

For my next project, part of me wants to get a PoE Zigbee radio thing and migrate my lights and switches in Home Assistant to Zigbee2MQTT from the Philips Hue integration and Deconz using the ancient Conbee II that's in place now.

Hab diesen ConBee Zigbee Stick und ich hab noch nie was zickigeres erlebt.
Mal funktioniert das ZigBee Netz, und 1min später, ohne das ich irgendwas geändert hätte, funktioniert dann die Integration nicht mehr.
Das soll einfach funktionieren...

Hab diesen ConBee Zigbee Stick und ich hab noch nie was zickigeres erlebt.

Es gibt halt immer das unvorhersehbare, bei mir waren das Probleme mit dem conbee Stick, die Netzwerkadresse ändert sich und die VM hat den bei Konfiguration immer raus geworfen.
Ansonsten wäre das echt sehr schnell gegangen, Backup, Neuinstallation, Einspielen, fertig.

Es gibt halt immer das unvorhersehbare, bei mir waren das Probleme mit dem conbee Stick, die Netzwerkadresse ändert sich und die VM hat den bei Konfiguration immer raus geworfen.
Ansonsten wäre das echt sehr schnell gegangen, Backup, Neuinstallation, Einspielen, fertig.

Just got one and it's a huge improvement from my previous Conbee 3 radio. No more dropped connections! It was amazingly simple to set up thanks to the "migrate radio" feature. Took me less than 10m!

I bought a £30 conbee usb dongle, plugged it into my pi with an extension cable, and started pairing stuff to it. Only caveat is the IKEA pairing instructions are "wrong" if you're not using their app so you have to look up how to pair them.

Ich kam vom conbee 2 und hab länger überlegt was der Nachfolger werden soll. Es wurde ein Sonoff P - bereue es nicht, und freue mich so eine Bestätigung zu lesen 😊

I eventually got the Zigbee network up and running after updating Conbee II's firmware manually. But, now I need to replace all the light-switches and some of the smaller relays that were still handled by Carlo Gavazzi's smart-home.
