overall the vibe on Figma’s announcements from designers I talked to at #config2026 seems to be very wary—been burned before by vaporware, expansions without fixing foundations, etc., some cool new tools that will be nice to have on the platform, but worries about loss of focus and increase in cost

I'm watching #Figma #Config2026 and I've never wanted to pick up woodworking more fervently.
I know Figma is just a tool and how people engage in design is outside of its purview, but it feels like everything is surface, everything is flash, nothing is meant to serve the people using the products.
