Port Putnam has secured a $1.95 million allocation from the Florida ports program toward a bulkhead and docking infrastructure, Port Manager Sam Sullivan told the Port Authority. The board was told the award plus prior contributions move the project into a position to begin construction planning while dredging and federal permitting continue.

Architects and engineers validated the emergency department floor plan and the project will move to construction-ready documents, but members were warned any increase in bed count would need to align with the state's certificate-of-need process.
