Three different trope talks have been copyright claimed and demonetized in the last two days. Probably indicative of a rework of the contentID system on the backend. Always bothers me that it would be safer and more financially viable for me to be lazy and go full podcast in the edit :c -R

I guess good time to remind everyone that we have a patreon if you wanna help us be less reliant on the capricious whims of the algorithm and the cold unfeeling contentID system that thinks the best way to account for fair use is to fully ignore that it exists -R

Sometimes it happens because amateur cover artists submit their covers to the contentID system without really knowing what they're doing. Sometimes it's scammers and trolls hoping to siphon pennies of ad revenue from thousands of millions of videos.

Did ContentID not prevent bootlegs in the first place? Was it b/c Colbert's new account wasn't eligible yet?

i do think sometimes that "streamer mode", as well as hiding sensitive information during multiplayer and muting any contentID-able songs, should force the player to actually type out sentences like "I can press R to reload, and I should do it when I am low on ammo" etc etc

Genuinely, I do suspect the ContentID claims hitting Deltarune playthroughs may be fraudulent and not from Materia themselves because it seems way, way too aggressive. I had never heard of "FUGA" until this started, and I haven't seen anything that ties them TO Materia.
