Is it hard to understand ? Starmer suffers the same problems that led to to 'Pasokification' across Europe, claiming to offer 'change' but doing continuity centrism instead , and because he did so by lying +attacking his own party , doesn't even have a base of his own to counterbalance attacks

The Dem Party establishment strategy for unreformed continuity centrism is essentially betting that a majority of their base won't ever pick up on the glaring contradiction between how they discuss Russia's conduct in Ukraine versus their glossary of euphemisms for Israel. It's a hell of a bet.

@lucympowell.bsky.social and andy burnham doing 'starmer but oasis' actually makes me instantly dislike him before i even get to his continuity 'centrism' politics bcos i hate fucking oasis

also hate that it's just more of labour navel gazing back to the blair era and brit pop

it's 2026 not 1996

Wes Streeting is 'continuity Mandelson'.

These deranged, egomaniacal centrist freaks have no grip on reality whatsoever. Streeting would instantly be just as unpopular as Starmer. Possibly even less popular.

Centrism is a weird cult.

The country does not want continuity centrism. The story of the last 10 years is that there is a large progressive bloc that wants the rules completely re-written in favour of a just, decent society. Regards of what the media and Labour leadership tell us.

New Statesman, where continuity Cameron centrism goes to die.

IT IS HARD it is very typical of the shonen genre as a whole too (which i believe xiv pulls from more than anything sometimes) and there’s a lot to be said abt the lens between the need for cultural continuity vs conservatism vs centrism which is like. a layered stack

i genuinely don't think continuity remain is about the EU, not any more if it ever was. it's just a convenient mask for aggro centrism that thinks all the parties are bad (the right being a bunch of charming scoundrels, the left being racist murderers)

If Reform win this by-election, they will have only 9 MPs and Labour will still have 402. It's absolutely fine if lots of voters in Makerfield decide they don't want to vote for either of those horrible parties. Burnham's continuity centrism won't save the country.

The Blue Lab leadership pandering to right wing targeting of minorities is hardly ‘continuity centrism’, on the contrary it’s what has lead to a feeling of utter betrayal.
They also promised change but put themselves in a fiscal straight jacket, belatedly realising closer EU ties are the main hope.

Also while I have a few followers the Superman line ranked to me:

Main continuity: Action Comics, World's Finest Superman, Superboy, Steelworks, and by a wide, wide margin, Adventures of Centrism, Jon Kent.

2/2 ..I wonder *who* #Burnham has got lined-up to run his "Number 10 of The North?"🤨

..Urrrgh!😖 '(..we also got surreptitious snaps of #SachaLord, who seems closer and closer to the seat of power by the day)'.

#Continuity-Centrism= "the more things change, the MORE they STAY the SAME!"🤮 SADLY!👇
