Manchester City now faces the prospect of significant sanctions after an independent commission found the club guilty of multiple breaches of Premier League financial rules spanning nine seasons. The Premier League said the breaches occurred between the 2009/10 and 2017/18 seasons and included failures relating to the reporting of commercial revenues, club expenditure and compliance with financial regulations. The commission also found that Manchester City failed to fully cooperate with the Premier League’s investigation, with three of four alleged breaches of its duty to cooperate and act in good faith upheld.

Not if they're in countries that refuse to cooperate with Western law enforcement. That's a big problem in this space. Not saying that's the case here — I don't know — but it often is.

Reading City’s statement, if I had “a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence” proving my innocence of astonishing fraud, I reckon I’d have been very happy to cooperate and share this evidence with the independent committee from the start.

And it was a failure to cooperate charge. Guilty of every single charge of breaching financial rules. The failure to cooperate did at least allow them to prolong the process and win three more trophies while also generating Champions League revenue, so I guess it was successful.

Disclosure: I'm not Belarusian (I'm an EU cit🙂), hence my native country has a system different from FPTP & it's far less brutal,pple stand better chances to have their views represented,it fosters more than 2 parties and therefore a plurality of views,it makes it more likely parties will cooperate.

Fingers crossed Washington State and Colorado nab at least another seat each in 2032 because of this (though hopefully it's more the non-citizens start moving to safer states that don't cooperate with ICE and not because they're put in concentration camps) 🤞

If a mandate for the latter exists the UK govt has a clear, democratic duty to cooperate.
