Phone forensics poster child #Cellebrite allowed misreporting that it cracked the San Bernardino terrorist iPhone for the FBI, when in fact it was Azimuth. But the Azimuth exploit developer then cofounded offensive researcher Corellium, just bought by Cellebrite, retconning it closer to true.

Apple sued Corellium years ago, a lawsuit in which it argued that Corellium had offered to sell its technology to companies like Dark Matter, NSO Group, and Russian forensic tool maker Elcomsoft.

I don’t think Corellium offers this as a service to individuals, but their machine is what law enforcement uses to break into iPhones that are intact.
