It's #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, so I have again commissioned #🎀Andrea post-cancer after a double mastectomy. This time from @crowflyproductions.bsky.social.

She's still beautiful. I think that's an important thing to depict.

Just a note: #🎀Andrea has dermal implants for her #corsetPiercings. The ribbons may come off and the jewelry can be changed but she always has those studs under her skin.

I tend to only take partial credit for my #OC designs since a lot of ideas come from the artists I work with to bring them to life.
In this case #🎀Andrea's signature dress was @haleyhalcyon.bsky.social's idea. It attaching to her piercings is part of her character design.

#🎀Andrea got a slight redesign the second time @gammatelier.bsky.social drew her. Originally I was just going to ask for some more outfits, but neither of us was 100% satisfied with the first version.
I definitely like her better with dreadlocks and more freckles.

#🎀Andrea is bad luck.
Making her was the second time I ever commissioned an artist and it took a year and a half. First @gammatelier.bsky.social disappeared, then the other artist I asked vanished and it went back to Gamma.
Long delays have happened several times since.
