one thing i'm curious to explore via aster is the feeling of being recent diaspora vs. distant diaspora.
aster's corvosi! but we're talking SEVERAL generations back, to the point where even if she were still able to talk to her grandparents, even they wouldn't have memories of living in corvos

Urianger has definitely used a Corvosi Shisha for the Drama of it.

j'tiqa is ala mhigan and leo is corvosi (and grew up in thavnair), which are all pretty warm locales. i think leo is probably more used to cold than j'tiqa, though, because he spent his teenage years on a boat, traveling all over the place.

oh nooo nature is sick and killing people (pokemon are spawning on the 13th and the voidsent are corrupting them and taking them to the source) and the only guy who knows what to do is this wasian accountant guy (sterling reverse engineers pokeballs using dried corvosi fruit and Goug tech)
