Anyone after a dope GUI editor on Darwin/ Mac, have a look at coteditor. I use it when I'm not in VIM. I also recommend the asciidoc syntax highlighting plug-in. It's easy and very efficient.

CotEditor 最新OSへの追従早いし、スペルチェックも Apple Intelligence 使った文章改善もできるし、Grammary 使わなくなってしまった。すべての文章をこれで書いてから、プロンプト欄に入れている。わずかながらドネーションしました。

CotEditorもよかったが、文書作成の機能という面に限るとiText Proの方が使いやすい。しかしMac OS26では新規文書を開くと前に作成していた文書も開く→前のを閉じると新規文書も閉じる→アプリが落ちる、などの不具合あり。これじゃ安心して使えないぞ。
文字数などのチェックはWord上でやると割り切れば、もうiText Expressでいいんじゃないかという気がしてきた

Oh, I forgot to mention. CotEditor isn't anywhere big enough to have stuff like a community package manager. It's quite barebones in the Dev Department in that way. You may end up having to manually write Scripts yourself to do things, which hopefully shouldn't be too time-consuming these days

On my Mac, I personally switched from Sublime Text to CotEditor (also open source, plus it's available for free on the App Store). I would say CotEditor tries to do everything, while Sublime Text is more developer-oriented. But, it's really hard to say which one is better; you have to test & compare

CotEditorの文字列の置き換え処理でよく使うものについて、AppleScriptで自動処理しようとしてほんのちょっとだけスクリプトエディタを触ってみたのだが、エディタ上でエスケープシーケンス(\nとか)を入力すると、コンパイル時に普通に改行扱いになるのね……
でも、それをわざわざ\\\nとかにしなくても思った通りに置き換えしているのがちょっとだけ不思議……

コードエディターをシンプル軽量な CotEditor から多機能重めの VisualStudioCode に変えてみた。
起動は遅いけど、サイドパネルに表示される関数一覧をクリックすると目的の関数まで一気に飛べて便利。

コードエディターをシンプル軽量な CotEditor から多機能重めの VisualStudioCode に変えてみた。
起動は遅いけど、サイドパネルに表示される関数一覧をクリックすると目的の関数まで一気に飛べて便利。
ただちょっと色がギトギト過ぎやしませんか。
カラーリングの変更方法を探そう。
