Peter Lamb, Labour MP for Crawley, has welcomed news that the developer of Forge Wood is willing to extend the existing acoustic barrier along Honour Way to help reduce noise from passing trains. Peter has been leading efforts, with local Councillors Nick Hilton and Justin Russell, to address concerns raised by residents about railway noise, particularly those living on Honour Way. The developer has now confirmed that it is prepared to extend the barrier beyond its current position, subject to approval from Crawley Borough Council. The proposed works would provide additional noise protection for nearby homes.

I worked and/or volunteered in City Hall for many years, so I didn't have to "look it up" myself to know what Rob and Doug were like. Doug -- known as Big Brother on the councillors' offices level -- drove a mild-mannered person I knew well to tears because of his bullying.
