Let's hold back the self-congratulations until the election count has properly put the nail in the coffin, but this is a live possibility.
Will be wild if a blue wave that delivers Dems e.g. Texas and Kansas gets written off by establishment fossils as a pure Trump backlash effect, as if candidates who a) boost Dem turnout, b) romp with indies, and c) win crossovers are weird sectarians who don’t count. Glad Greg pushed back.
I also challenge this idea that if Dems win big, it'll be less a "blue wave" than just Republicans staying home. I note that D candidates are winning indys/driving voter enthusiasm (@gelliottmorris.com good on this too).
