#Counterclockwise
In Devil Daggers, the enemies that spawn skulls, squids, are only vulnerable from specific sides, squid I's from one side, squid II's and III's from radially symmetric sides. They spin clockwise, so if you move counterclockwise about the arena, you have the best chance of being shown that side.

They say Frequency is Freedom, I would also add Frequency is Forgiveness for when you make rookie mistakes like getting on the 125 instead of the 146 (last trip) or when you don’t realize the Green Line is on a wild detour and traveling counterclockwise around the loop (just now)

I looked at it more closely, and I think that's not quite it, or not the only thing. When I'm knitting a braid, I'm wrapping the stitches clockwise and counterclockwise in equal measure. I think there is an additional factor. Keeping you posted ^^

Jeppesen CR-3 flight computer

The CR-3 (and its smaller cousins, the CR-2 and CR-5) are circular slide rules designed specifically for aviation. They are similar to the more common E6B computer, but they lack the sliding portion used for crosswind calculations. The […]

Strange Walking Experiment Found That Almost Everyone, Alone or in Crowds, Keeps Turning Left
Put a small crowd of people in an open space and ask them to walk around, and something odd happens. They do not move as randomly as you might think. Again and again, in experiments in Spain and Japan, groups of pedestrians began drifting counterclockwise, as if an invisible current had started to pull them around the room. The effect was consistent time and time again. In one early set of trials, 32 out of 33 groups showed the same counterclockwise tendency. “When analyzing the experiments, my colleagues realized by chance that in 32 out of 33 experimental trials, as people moved and turned, they noticeably preferred to turn counterclockwise,” said Claudio Feliciani, a project associate professor at the University of Tokyo. It seems like humans may have a small but persistent turning bias in the way they walk. The researchers tested whether culture, gender, handedness, footedness, eye dominance, crowd size or walls could explain it. Most did not. A Crowd Pattern that Starts with the Individual Scientists who study crowds have long known that pedestrians self-organize. On a sidewalk or in a station corridor, people do not usually collide at random. They read one another’s motion, adjust their steps...

In European pagan tradition, counterclockwise or widdershins, is generally regarded as evil, while clockwise, or deosil, is benevolent. No idea why.

2. Take something you already do and see what happens when you do it a little differently. For example, if you normally cast a circle using one set of associations, try switching them around to see what happens (if anything). What happens when you cast that circle counterclockwise? Get curious!

In the late 18thC century, Kentucky pioneer William Whitley established a circular course where horses ran counterclockwise, deliberately rejecting the then-familiar English clockwise custom. Later attempts at major right-handed American tracks did not stick.

Interestingly, in F1 most tracks go clockwise. The counterclockwise ones (including two of the three US ones) put a lot of stress on the drivers, especially their necks, because they're not used to it.

2b) for an undo function why are you using a clockwise icon???? it's commonly accepted that undo is counterclockwise!

the "rotate image" UX on this app is hilariously bad lol

1) the "rotate counterclockwise" button rotates clockwise
2) the button that looks like "rotate clockwise" actually is the "undo rotation" button

I find this fascinating. I wonder if we'll ever figure out why humans do this.

In guinea fowl, walking and running form a continuum of center-of-mass dynamics in which the rotation sense of the velocity loop indicates the walk-run divide.

Strange movement finding: let people roam freely with no destination, and a clear majority move counterclockwise — even alone.
