Completed the Kong Bananza Returns Emerald Rush. Not as easy as I thought it’d be!
Had to prioritize the Crockoid perks. It helps that there’s so many of them native to the level (so you aren’t just chasing the ones spawned in from the Goals) and that they respawn so often.

I fully expect K. Rool to be at very least referenced since I spotted the new Crockoid enemies. You can't make a new DK with anthropomorphic crocs without it being intentional. I expect either K.Rool to be the mastermind, or maybe VoidCo are resurrecting him? Something like that.

Made it my mission to destroy the rock part of their weapon to see what would happen. It appears they are holding what is essentially a rock-spawning golden bone wand. They simply grow the rock back!

Considering Banandium causes transformations, it's likely they just saw Void Kong transform here.
And Bananzas have lined up with the layer they debut in. Hmm, I wonder what animal is consistently used throughout the game that has long jaws of jagged teeth that this layer could be themed around.

I'm very pessimistic about how a new Mario Baseball would play out considering how the other sports games have been but I'd LOVE if they got so incredibly weird with a new game. Put Crockoid. Add Fauster from Wario's Woods. Put the sentient Onigiri from Wrecking Crew 98!

If you’re struggling with the current Donkey Kong Bananza Emerald Rush event, you aren’t alone. This was by far the hardest one yet imo. Here’s what I did to succeed:

- Get a few Lonely Hearts and Buzzoid Demolishers

On top of all the Journey to the West stuff, I realized that there are bull-shaped treasure chests in Bananza! And they're green-n-gold, of all colors! So I think I know the kind of persona our king might have in this game...
