There's a few other alternate browsers, LibreWolf, ZenBrowser. Ironfox for android. I don't recommend any chromium-based browsers but I've heard of Helium, Brave, and Cromite

Rn I'm using Fennec Browser, which is just Firefox without the branding & the telemetry. If possible I wanna avoid Brave cus it's developed by a homophobic AI-bro & also Cromite & Ironfox cus they literally force you to relaunch the whole app if you lose wifi connection

there are plenty of "de-googled" chromium browsers (ex. brave, cromite, vanadium, ungoogled chromium, etc...), so imo it's definitely possible to separate the project from google.
it just needs to be done the right way and given its own independent non-profit foundation (like linux).
