Will second that the Twin Cities are an incredibly fun place to visit, especially if you're into food. Genuinely world-class restaurants often doing interesting, off-the-beaten-path stuff all over the place, and plenty of crowdpleasers too.
If my followers have been inspired by the fierce resistance the Twin Cities has put up to ICE, you should make it a point to take a trip here (April through October 😬), enjoy the wonderful things MN has to offer and support our small businesses. It continues to be a really tough time for them.

I am a huge proponent of silent era crowdpleasers that may not be on anyone's Best of the Decade list but are nevertheless charming, amusing and formed the backbone of the movie industry. Lau Lauritzen wasn't Benjamin Christensen and didn't want to be but he always delivered.

Still thinking about Camp Miasma. I can definitely identify things about it that should annoy me but I grant more leeway to original artists doing genuine communication over Disney brand corporate committee crowdpleasers for some reason. It simply doesn't bother me the same way.
