Book 60 of 2026. A fast paced multiplanet treasure hunt to get the royal seal. I think it was smart how one character got a separate pov since they are in the shadows of the others and without it, the ending wouldn't have been as good.

58. Crownchasers by Rebecca Coffindaffer. I don't usually like "deadly competition" narratives. But this duology was about a deadly competition SPACE RACE, which really makes all the difference.

I'm a little behind on the #ReadQueerly2025 challenge and still have to read 9 books for that one. What I have read for this one and haven't used for one of the other bingos & challenges is: Hammajang Luck, Mooncakes, Mary Gilbert Necromancer, the third Paola Santiago book, Little Rot, Dream In Ramona Riley, Magic Fish, the Faithless, A Taste of Gold & Iron and Sorcery & Small Magics.

I still have to read books for the Sports prompt, poetry/ in verse, religious trauma, music time travel, an anthology, indigenous & SWANA author and a winter holiday book.

I made great progress on the r/fantasy bingo of 2025. I've read 12 books for this one already, and only doubled up with another reading challenge once with A Taste of Gold and Iron. The rest are mostly sequels to series I already started like Holy Terrors, the Raven Cycle, the Witcher prequels, the sequels to a Natural History of Dragons and Tea You at the Altar. I don't have a bingo yet though.

My SFF Summer Reading challenge is a little slow going because I'm trying not to double up with the other fantasy reading challenge. I've only read 11 books for that one yet though, my favorite reads here were A Language of Dragons, A Day of Fallen Night and the Lotus Empire. No bingo in sight yet though.
