Ben Cruachan is one of the finest Munros in the southern Highlands, with jagged peaks and fine rocky ridges as well as stunning views. The ridge walk to Stob Dàimh makes for a classic circuit around the Cruachan reservoir.

Cleaning up some photos on my Google drive I found this one I took when stayed in lovely cottage banks of Loch Awe. In the distance in Ben Cruachan.

I think it has the feels of "Middle Earth" about it.

In Scotland, we've been keeping the lights on in Croydon, for several decades.

Oil, Coal, Wind and since the 1950s, this, Hydro.

Independent Scotland had oodles of Water and will be very RICH!

It was great for the kids on a soggy Sunday (and me), tea at me Granny's and back home again for School in the the morning
