1/25 boys are born with cryptorchidism or an undescended testicle. Only 1/100 need orchidopexy & bilateral cryptorchidism like mine is very rare. I had surgery as a teen, leaving my scars. 1 ball re-ascended and had to be retrieved in a 2nd op #testicletuesday #gonutsforyournuts #grablifebythenuts

Sexual developmental disorders are very variable in how they present. Some (a minority) males with this condition have cryptorchidism - an undescended testicle. A smaller proportion have have microphallus - a small penis.

Now comes the tough part: Oddy's got Cryptorchidism and it seems it's starting to form a tumor. Luckily it can't spread and with a simple procedure he'll be fine.

Now comes the tough part: Oddy's got Cryptorchidism and it seems it's starting to form a tumor. Luckily it can't spread and with a simple procedure he'll be fine.

We don't have a garden, so happy World Naked Houseplant Day! "Orchid" is the Greek for "testicle". "Cryptorchidism" (lit. "hidden testicles") is a condition affecting some boys. My orchids were hidden until surgery (hence the scars). Here are all of my orchids, happily on display 🌸🥜

The risk of testicular cancer is nearly non-existent before 5-7 years old, and extremely low after that barring conditions like cryptorchidism. Meanwhile testosterone is important for bone, joint, muscle, and even I suspect mental development. My pref is vasectomy over neuter.

His testicles, if he has them, have shrunk and retreated into his body. This condition is called Cryptorchidism.
