The Jackson County Board of Elections voted today to move the Cullowhee precinct election day voting site from the Cullowhee Recreation Center to the Health and Human Sciences Building at Western Carolina University.
Both sites will be used in 2026 early voting.

Cal Raleigh of Cullowhee in Jackson County continues to amaze — with two homers last night, he now has 56 for the season, tying Ken Griffey Jr.’s record for most by a Mariner and breaking Mickey Mantle’s for most by a switch hitter. He already has the most by a catcher. He’s making NC proud!
