there is so much generational trauma in my family but NOT from Marge. Marge had a charmed upbringing despite a lack of money. Shes good. Her and her immediate kin are just very cultlike and judgemental.

I would have to wonder if the show at only two seasons long was enough to be remembered by whoever was making the decisions. Maybe a cultlike following after it ended would have gotten it a release.

I'm enjoying all this cultlike worship but are you doing anything today? Isn't there something I can mock you about?

Texas has the most cultlike, embarrassing leadership in the country. Not all of them but enough to make them a laughing stock. Not the people, but the leaders.

I am equally disgusted by those who excuse his conduct, defend his falsehoods, dismiss legitimate criticism, and demand loyalty regardless of what he says or does. In my view, far too many MAGA supporters have embraced a cultlike political loyalty in which independent thought,

To use the term 'creepy' again,I was approached by one woman asking me in a wide-eyed, smiling, cultlike way,

"Hullo! Would you like to ask any questions?"

I replied,

"No, I'd like you all to go home," and walked away. Totally creeped me out.

This may be true, but a wise person once said "there's nothing gayer than a straight Marine"

You still haven't answered what your familiarity is with the medicine used in HRT, or listed the supposed many specific harms

Then don't read it.
You invade my comments to complain that you don't like my comments? What a buffoon. Take your cultlike devotion to anti-trans bigots elsewhere.
Your brain's running on a lean mixture, hit the reset button on the back of your head & try again, then you won't have such a hard life.

There is no meaningful difference between the anti-AI crowd and the MAGA crowd in terms of group dynamics, cultlike thinking, persecution of a scapegoat as a proxy for being disgruntled by modern society, etc.

Like...he got 30% of voting age population to vote for him, most of those people are just uninformed morons, not cultlike followers, but even if you take a wildly optimistic baseline it is impossible not to assume it has decreased in the last two years as his popularity has cratered. This is dumb

“Maria Tapia wrote a book about Escrivá which became a best-seller in Spain, and Germany. The Boston Globe called it a picture of an obsessively secretive, manipulative, and sexist organization with a virtual cultlike veneration of its founder.”

Although accused of elitism, secrecy, and cultlike practices, the organization remained popular, and Escrivá moved rapidly toward sainthood. After one of the shortest waiting periods in papal history (27 years), Escrivá was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2002.

Creativity was the vague but all-American form of brilliance that would give us artistic achievement & spiritual satisfaction at the same time. It was a short walk from there to the cultlike adulation we routinely express for Steve Jobs, innovator & prophet, billionaire son of the old middle class.2

not kidding when i say we gotta end greek life and that weird cultlike fraternity culture makes men feel way too safe hurting women and hiding it in their stupid little cult mansions.
Another woman has claimed she was raped this year at a UChicago fraternity, according to a new lawsuit. This comes just over a week after a 21-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted at the Alpha Epsilon Pi house. buff.ly/QBcLrZg

And has been since Vatican II. All kinds of crazy sht put in the minds of Catholics in the upper plains. I can vouch that my great aunties were, to my experience, deeply affected mentally. We are, thankfully, a few generations removed now and not afflicted with the mindset. It was, indeed, cultlike.
