The Frijoles Fire more than doubled in size overnight, growing to 2,052 acres with 0% containment. Cundiyo and Cerro Piñon are under “Ready” status, and part of NM 503 is closed. Crews and aircraft are working again today to slow the fire’s spread. #NMFire

The Frijoles fire is now 15,208 acres & 38% contained. The GO evacuation status has been lifted for Camino del Cañon in Cundiyó. Rain on Thursday & higher humidity reduce fire activity and allowed firefighters to extinguish portions of the fire.
