When you visit Curonian Spit, you can find a sizable colony of~5000 cormorants. You can immediately see their effects of massive nutrient flow of guano.

Two beeches that were once planted next to the P. Bock monument still stand up to this day.
In 1979 a sculpture called The Forester was placed here. It’s a way to express #gratitude to all the foresters that looked after the forests of Curonian Spit.
