Vishay Intertechnology (NYSE: VSH) has expanded its D2TO35 series with a new AEC-Q200 qualified automotive-grade thick film power resistor. The D2TO35H, housed in a TO-263 (D²PAK) package, delivers enhanced pulse absorption up to 15 J/0.1 s and power dissipation of 35 W at +25 °C case temperature.The device features 30% higher energy absorption than the standard D2TO35 resistor, offering more stable operation in high-stress environments. Key specifications include high-temperature operation to +175 °C, resistance values from 1 Ω to 14 kΩ, and thermal resistance of 4.28 °C/W. Applications include EV/HEV systems, industrial equipment, and military applications.Samples and production quantities are available with 10-week lead times.
