Okay, I'm getting a little distracted by one of the anti-vaxxers being named Mumper. Yeah, making fun of names is something a 12 year old boy would do, but mumper sounds like a DCVerse villain who...goes around trying to keep people from vaccinating and therefore spreading mumps.

I liked Superman/Batman: Public Enemies because like the whole DCverse decides to go after them and as a viewer you're rubbing your hands going "oh y'all done did it now you fucked up"

gunmen to protect an innocent woman not knowing if he would survive it since he didn't know he was bulletproof, and a solemn moment of introspection in which he wonders to himself about his place in the world.
Their opinions and dismissals of Gunn's DCverse are perfectly valid and well-informed.

In the comics fan journal, about 3 months before the first WATCHMEN comic was release, they detailed how DC wanted to incorporate the newly acquired CHARLTON characters into the DCverse. The story that came about did terrible things to the heros and DC said they couldn't do it. But someone

I'm not the biggest fan of #TheCW #DCverse, but I've kinda latched on to #SupermanandLois. Just finished season 2, and while it certainly isn't perfect, I've enjoyed it far more than I expected.

Right? The CW DCverse really knew what they were doing, esp in comparison w how the movie verse floundered around the same time period (not a fan of the Snyderverse). Gunn needs to pay attention to that and use it - actors/writer. He did pay attention that tv works well - I enjoyed Peacemaker, but..

I was a huge fan of the CW-DCverse shows. I continually said that was where DC was doing it right. But tv shows have the chance for character and story development on a much longer scale compared to movies. Going to watch the trailer now but it depends how they compare it to those shows for me.

But as a whole the film is a lot of fun That has nice elements and hints to Superman’s rich almost 90 year history. It’s nice to see a version of him who is more human and humorous, I’m intrigued to see were Gunn’s DCverse goes next. 4/4
