This is my friend’s character from the DND campaign I’m in. He’s a Goliath Ranger named, Derock.

This was a long time coming, I actually started working on this drawing since September. The reason why it took so long (aside from being busy working on other projects) was because I actually had a hard time figuring out this guy’s design (Hey, I don’t normally draw big muscular characters, what can I say). The face alone went through multiple revisions before I finally settled on the one that I hated the least. Originally he was supposed to have hair, but upon some further research I found out that most male Goliaths are typically bald. I still wanted to keep that silhouette of his hair flowing in the wind so I decided to go for a helmet/pelt sort of look as a compromise.

Overall, I’m quite happy with how it turned out. And who knows, maybe you’ll see me draw more of my other friend’s DND characters, maybe even Azrael and Damaia could make a return.
