It confuses things to pretend England's Metro Mayors are comparable to Sco/Wa/NI FM/DFMs when their powers are a world apart

Sunderland of 461 Squadron on its beaching trolley at Pembroke Dock, Wales. Of the 11 crewmen aboard the aircraft involved on 2nd June, one was killed and several wounded. A DFC, DSO and two DFMs were awarded, as well as a Mention in Dispatches.

DFMS was a super powerful mass spectrometer. It could almost isolate water with deuterium (HDO) from other species that have the same mass. But, figuring out how much HDO was in each measurement was really hard. Most people could only evaluate a few measurements at a time by hand! 🔭🧪🧵6/n
