#DIALECT
The English side improving is the interesting bit. Fine-tuning on a dialect usually costs a little accuracy elsewhere, so a gain in both suggests the base model was under-trained on those acoustic conditions, not the language. That argues for domain audio over more hours of generic speech.

It's even funnier when you are actually italian, cuz wdym Ghiaccio just called Risotto a "mona" (It's "moron" or "idiot" in the venetian dialect), part 5 dubbed It's literal perfection.

I really enjoy dispassionately countering troll comments on left-leaning MP and local media Fb accounts with questions, using dialect or UK English words, or just absolutely plain facts, which drives them crazy.
Yes readers, I am the Yorkshire Colin Robinson and I'm not sorry.

I've so far mostly just been referring to the dialects simply as Dragon and Wyvern, though, which feels more utilitarian.

Basically, the naming options are:

Language as a whole:
Draconian or Draconoidic

Dragon dialect:
Dragon or Draconic

Wyvern dialect:
Wyvern, Vipernic or Viperine

Draconic was meant to be the name specifically for the dialect the dragons use, whereas Vipernic/Viperine would be for the dialect used by wyverns (unfortunately there isn't really a good adjective form of wyvern comparable to draconic for dragons).

Being from northern Ohio, my dialect comes out pronouncing certain words. I have to be careful sometimes😂

Well...the 'wulf' is out of the bag. Professor Daniel Wakelin and I were the Middle English consultants for Robert Eggers' upcoming film Werwulf, in UK theatres on January 1st 2027!

Every civilization that tried to wall off male tenderness just watched men invent new languages for it, and apparently the current dialect is "bro" repeated five times at midnight.

prompt as a follow up of the html table.

"can you write this as a pico8 LUA dialect script which draws the same table fitting in the pico8 resolution?"

Better? Are there simple/basic phrases that I can learn? There's a mix of different languages and I'm not sure I'm conversant enough to identify which dialect I'm hearing. Is there an app?

Just your average fifteenth century hospital interior. L'Ospedale Civile SS Giovanni e Paolo in Venice, and one of its very plump feral cats. I bet the staff spend their breaks in the garden having a quick bit of fur time.

For the purposes of this question I don't know if it matters whether you disagree because you don't like the concept or you disagree because it's not written in a dialect you know but looks like it is. 🤔

Times headlines are almost a dialect of Newspeak.

However, much like langue d'oïl, it's not really one language as much as it is a dialect continuum with degrees of mutual intelligibility. So two speakers from proximate regions can communicate fine, but intelligibility breaks down with distance until they're speaking truly different languages.

Dragons and wyverns each have their own dialect, Dragon and Wyvern, respectively. I'm also considering the alternate names of Draconic and Vipernic. The latter is a very faux Latin rendering of am adjectival form of 'wyvern', so I'm debating if I want to keep it.

100%, it’s rough to see people be all cutesy about a place with such rich history and a large variety of dialect, he seems genuine though. I’ve been watching a lot of the clips and the interviewers often come across condescending, but he quickly steers it into praise. It’s cool/strange to see
