black and white. portrait format. two pigeons sit on a fountain covered with small tiles at the top. I photographed from below so that the pigeons are silhouetted against the slightly cloudy sky. Two more pigeons are flying in the background and their silhouettes are wonderfully reflected in the sky.

Good morning!

Because Miho has muscle pain. She prepares so slowly and Saku waited longer than usual.
Saku left 2/3 of his breakfast because he didn't go morning walk yet...

Listen to Schiller - #photography #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography #bnwphotography #photographersofbluesky #blueskyartshow #blackandwhite #monochrome #street #streetphotography #frankfurt #leica #dlux8 #dlux #urban #schiller #statue #skyscraper
With the German Bank behind him, Friedrich Schiller's statue gives life advice to a young man of questionable social status sitting on a bench in front of him in the Taunusanlage, Frankfurt's green lung and “formerly” the site of an open drug scene near the main train station. Just as the picture thrives on visual contrasts, the rear elevated level (Deutsche Bank) also represents a strong contrast in terms of content to the front lower level (young man of questionable social status at a problematic focal point). The middle level (statue of Friedrich Schiller) mediates, both visually and in terms of content. Does the dark wall of the trees have a protective effect? If so, who does it protect and in which direction should it protect? Or does it hinder and make things impossible? In any case, Deutsche Bank, Schiller and the young man are connected characterized by similar tonal values. Well, and Schiller is on the side of the young man.

Back to basics: Yashica D 6x6 camera. Helemaal gaaf en werkend, en wat een genot om weer oldskool te fotograferen. Foto’s gemaakt met Leica dlux8, die ik gebruik voor het lichtmeten en de proeffoto’s. Supergoeie combi! 🥰 #yashicad #analogphotography #6x6film #fiftiesdesign #leicadlux8
