I already use Linux and have had Doom (and Doom2 and Heretic) running on it at some point over the years, but not for that reason! And not for years if I'm honest. I played those lots (and Castle Wolfenstein and 3D) when they first came out. Maybe I should have purchased them.

this one actually caught me totally off guard because the doom+doom2 version obfuscates the actual map numbers and i didn't realise it was map7. didn't think anything of the low monster count but when the mancubi showed up i looked at the shape of the arena and went ohhhh
