Israel is trying to claim it’s “protecting” the Druze population just as Russia claimed it invaded to “protect” the Russian speaking population. However, Druze leaders have now come out to publicly reject Israel and embrace the new Syria government.

Bad journalism from @theguardian.com, which says Israel is 'following through on its promise to protect the Druze'. The Syrian authorities did NOT attack the Druze, so Israel is simply attacking Syria, not protecting anyone.
