I finally got a copy of the only one of Ann Bannon’s novels that I haven’t read because it’s never been reprinted. Lesbian Laura enters a lavender marriage with her gay bff Jack but the novel is mostly about their accidentally incestuous married friends. #DailyPaperback

Remember that time Fran Lebowitz wrote a porno? No? Well, she did in 1971 under a pseudonym and this is it. I saw a copy at the NY fair for $1250 a few years ago and cried. Got it this week for $35. Patience & knowing where to look are everything in book collecting. #DailyPaperback

Dell deemed the cover of the first printing of this mystery novel to be a bit too unzipped. Subsequent printings were altered to button her up. #DailyPaperback

Today’s #DailyPaperback is one that has been on my Abe Want list for about 5 years, since I first started to collect Satanic Gothics. Jensen has a lot of fans and apparently this is pretty good—I can’t wait to read it and find out what’s up with that suit and cane!

The first Avon printing of Europa was deemed too risqué so later printings were given a “still-sexy-but-with-fewer-whips”makeover. #DailyPaperback
