There was this - Le Stick from Datasoft. As it was baseless, it used mercury switches to sense movement. These switches were not that accurate. The mercury could also leak if the joystick was damaged.

The Goonies (Datasoft, 1985) for the C64 is a fun puzzle platformer that follows the movie nicely.
I had a copy of this for the Apple II back in the day - I definitely liked playing the Datasoft games from then (Conan, The Goonies, etc.)

40 years ago, US Gold was advertising this pair of "famous faces." Both were platformers, and both were made and published in the US by Datasoft. I liked Bruce Lee the most, but also enjoyed playing Conan. Especially since I'd just watched the movie on a (pirated) VHS. 🏴☠️

A digital rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" greeted fans in this neat film adaptation by Datasoft in 1985. Doing the truffle shuffle or using slick shoes were, sadly, not among the gameplay mechanics.
