I see increasing efforts to create skills or systems that deslopify GenAI content, such as Declaude and others.
While I think this can only have limited effect, it's good that AI is forcing us to talk about what good writing means, and where and when AI generated content is okay.

AI text watermarking went mainstream (Declaude, 147 HN pts). But it only covers generated text. When your agent books a flight or approves a payment, there is no watermark. LifeOS has approval gates + full audit trails. Provenance for agent actions, not just agent output.

Sorry, but if you want to get rid of the watermark that Claude is putting into your text, you could have used the app DeClaude. The site only allows 50 tries a day, and it must be overloaded today.

just took a look at the readme for the referenced repo, and noticed that it’s entirely claude written — their declaude efforts didn’t even work on their own read me lol
you can get rid of tics and em dashes and things, but claude’s voice is still there, claude is very bad at trying to not be claude

Let's not forget that this watermarking system isn't open. You and I can't use it. If I could, and I could immediately tell whether something was LLM-generated, I'd be much more in favour. It seems like it can also be circumvented by tools like Declaude. So what's the point?
