#Decisonmaking
Put it another way… this robot needs to perform indefinitely(hours) without recharge or WiFi, lift hundreds of pounds of weight, make complex decisions, and survive to do that dozens of times? There are very practical non-AI limitations there before we even talk about AI decisonmaking.

Even leaving that aside, the government cannot simply silently discard decisonmaking data like this. These people are used to hiding behind opaque algorithms, but that’s not how public service works.

Yeah, that’s fair.

My current focus is more on local decisonmaking, so I’m less concerned abt what the Feds do w their own jurisdiction, and more abt how they can force localities to change.

But “what should Fed crim law do?” is def also an important question.

This is like the computer program from Douglas Adams' first Dirk Gently book. It was a sort of reverse decisonmaking program: tell the computer the outcome you want, and it produces "logical-sounding steps to connect the premises with the conclusion."

…but the follow-up question - would he vote for him again? If the answer is “yes,” this isn’t driving his decisonmaking - it’s something else.

If you are on LinkedIn, you may enjoy this post and cognitive artifact. This is one of the tools I have created to help evaluate decisions, operations, and future products. This is removed from Maturana, but based on his work. Maybe a paper someday.

He'd be a little more of a self-assured golden boy, less independant in his decisonmaking. A bit less scrappy and varietal-resourceful in the ways that only harder hard knocks can teach. He'd carry less survivor's guilt.

Cant have the real consequences of #BrianKemp mishandling and poor decisonmaking in the public square, subject to scrutiny.
He is planning his next govt job to steal..

In my experience government agencies are not so committed to merits-based decisonmaking, as they are to hierarchy-based say so.
