i wasn't gonna buy a decksight last year because i was planning on saving money up and selling my LCD next summer, but it seems that decksight looks a lot more attractive to me now

There's a 3rd party drop-in LCD to OLED kit called #DeckSight. The kit promises easy screen upgrade. Personally I would be very cautious because the kit requires you to flash your #Steamdeck with a custom BIOS. If something ever goes wrong there's no easy way to fix.

I might have to consider that because I've been weighing selling my Wave 1 LCD model for an OLED, but I'm also considering just getting a DeckSight panel instead

I emailed the team that makes the DeckSight in case there's a chance they'll restock, but if not then uhhhhh oof, I'll either have to pull the trigger or just stick it out with the LCD until things settle back down
