I got Giada DeLaurentiis’ new cookbook Super Italian a couple of weeks ago and have been cooking from it the past two weeks, including last week’s Peach Mostarda and pork tenderloin, and this week the kale salsa verde and green gazpacho. Both were excellent for dinner tonight!

Modified the cooking instructions for a ricotta pound cake successfully. Normally it's goopy in the middle, cooking it for almost 20 minutes longer at 25°F cooler resulted in a perfect texture.

Also, until fairly recently most of those adaptations were from ultra-low-budget people like Dino DeLaurentiis, or made-for-TV miniseries, not mega-budget blockbusrter franchises.
