Nine years ago today, I was at the House of Lords in support of DementiaUK and took this photograph. I didn't know then how important that wall across the water would become to me. The second photo was taken from the same vantage point earlier this year. ♥️

I’ve been an Alzheimer’s/Dementia carer (for my family) & I’m deeply concerned about the #GOVUK proposal to cut the winter fuel allowance. To suggest sufferers or carers apply for #DWPgovuk benefits is unrealistic many forget how to turn on TV let alone even have a PC #alzheimerssociety #DementiaUK
